KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NORTH LAKHIMPUR ASSAM

A report on continuous and comprehensive evaluation (2015-16)

            The Vidyalaya is following the pattern of CCE as per the instructions and guidelines issued by the central board of secondary education C.B.S.E .and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

In the session 2015-16 we have implemented as follows

  1. SCHOLASTIC AREAS I

 

  1. FORMATIVE ASSESMENT – I

A pen paper test was conducted which was consisting of 40 marks. The question paper was framed at school level and the evaluation was done at school level by the concern teachers.

 

  1. FORMATIVE ASSESMENT – II

The formative assessment – II was also conducted at Vidyalaya level only. This was further included the total 10( ten ) activities like assignment, project, peer teaching , debate, quiz , oral, seminar,  experimentation , puzzle, group discussion  etc. we have conducted . For each activity we have allotted 10 marks thus an average was drawn from 100 for each student.

 

  1. SUMMATIVE ASSESMENT – I

The summative assessment – I was conducted at Vidyalaya level. For primary the question paper was framed at school level and the evaluation was done at school level by the concern teachers. In secondary the question paper was received to school by regional office level and the evaluation was done at school level by the concern teachers.

 

  1. FORMATIVE ASSESMENT – III

  1. FORMATIVE ASSESMENT – IV

The formative assessment – IV is also conducting at Vidyalaya level only. This is further including the total 10(ten) activities like assignment, project, peer teaching, debate, quiz, oral, seminar, experimentation, puzzle, group discussion etc. we have conducted. for each activity we have allotted 10 marks thus an average was drawn from 100 for each student.

 

 

  1. SCHOLASTIC AREAS II

This is further including work education, art education, physical and health education the grading is done for the five point scale with the descriptive indicators with the concent of respective teacher of the student.

 

  1. CO- SCHOLASTIC AREAS

The students are under the observation by all the teachers .so their all the activities are observed in various field .  Various co- curricular activities are conducted in the Vidyalaya where the following  areas are identified.

Life skills , attitudes and values ,literary,scientific,aesthetic & performing art ,clubs sports, yoga , sharamdanetc are included in this , the grading is done on  the three  point scale with the descriptive indicators with the concent of respective teachers  of the students.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                For each term the the valuation in the co-scholastic area is carried out.
